Calibrations are on two sides of one edge on this high quality 1-3/4" wide (except 6", which is 3/4" wide) aluminum ruler. This rule is designed as an efficient aid in finding the center between two points: a significant time saving device for crafts and design of all kinds. There is a zero point at the center of the top edge of the ruler, with calibrations running to the left and right of center in 32nds of the inch. The bottom edge is a standard ruler calibrated in 16ths. Handy hang hole at one edge.
