Rotary Cutters & Blades
First introduced by Olfa in 1979, rotary cutters transformed quilting, crafting and sewing. Perfect for cutting fabric, paper, wallpaper, leather, photographs and more, the rolling razor blades slashed the time it took to cut fabrics into shapes, strips and pieces for a multitude of craft projects.
The dynamic motion of the cutters allows the hand to easily push or pull the blades through materials, thereby reducing the hand fatigue usually associated with conventional scissors. And rotary cutters can even cut through upwards of eight layers of fabric.
Olfa Ergonomic Rotary Cutters were introduced in 1998. These models have a number of new features including comfortable cushioned handles and push-button safety locks. And the all new Quick-Change Rotary Cutter makes blade replacement easier than ever.
The razor-sharp rotary blades are made of high-quality tungsten carbide tool steel (except where indicated otherwise) for superior sharpness and durability and come in 18mm, 28mm, 45mm and 60mm blade sizes. All of Olfa Rotary Cutters are designed for left and right handed users.
